The Toro Power Shovel Plus is two tools in one: an ultra-light snow thrower and power broom. In shovel mode, the Power Shovel Plus can clear 300 pounds of snow per minute, which makes it perfect for quickly clearing snow from decks, walks, and patios.

When the weather is warmer, just flip it over, change the rotor and use the broom feature to clear leaves, dirt and debris. This handy model converts from Power Shovel to Power Broom in minutes, and it's wholly maintenance free -- with no gas and oil to mix. Simply plug it in and go! This electric tool weighs just 12.5 pounds, so the Power Shovel Plus is much easier to maneuver than a bulky gas unit.

Summary: toro snow blower 2008-09-04
Comment: This item is fine for small driveways. One problem I had was if the snow froze rained on etc, you have a real problem. Also the weight of the blower plus you having to push,can be very tiring. If the manufacturer had put some type of wheels on it to take the weight, then all you have to do is push, it will in my estimation work better. For snow deeper than 6 inches, I suggest you find another type of machine.

Summary: i'm satisfied 2008-04-04
Comment: i'm satisfied with this product. some people posted negative comments, some posted positive comments. for me i found this product to do all of what i wanted and expected it to do. it's a little heavy and a little back-achey but i figure it's got to be a WHOLE lot less back-achey than having to lift and heave the snow with human muscle. i clear the area around my back porch door of 6" to one foot of snow so i can scoop it away with my snow plow. it's not a huge area, maybe 100 or so sq. ft., it's a lot easier than shoveling it by hand. i'm thoroughly satisfied with the performance of this product.

Summary: waiting for the snow 2008-03-07
Comment: Maybe I scared the snow away from central VA this year by purchashing two of these (one for me, one for my dad.) I ran mine for a few minutes, just to see how it ran and to get a feel for it. It ran smoothly. Only time will tell.

Summary: Not quite a snow blower 2008-02-28
Comment: If you've ever used a "real" snow blower, then this is a toy. It works fairly well on new snow up to about 8". If the snow is deeper and you have to reduce the depth by layers, it will wear you out holding the Toro Power Shovel up. And if the snow has sat for a few days and is compressed, it takes a long time. It does work well when I get right on a new snowfall and before it gets too deep. I should point out that my decks are not accessible for my Honda, so this is a good compromise.
