Summary: HAPPY in the hamptons 2009-01-03
Comment: Bought my sno wovel 3 years ago and loved it from the first moment behind that big stylish wheel! Easy on back and FUN to use. Did not break a sweat woveling driveway before work and it took 2-3 times less time (standard 1 car-width flat driveway) than standard manual shovel. No need to shower and not late to work!
Not much sno here (Long Island, NY) last year but just the other day I took the handle down from the garage wall and popped on the wheel (easy quick disconnect wheel) and cleared my driveway right off. Its a joy to use this well-engineered product.

Comment: This is a good product in theory. Does save your back and neck from a lot of the usual strain of manual shoveling. However, the plastic shovel part is of lesser quality and for the amount of money paid, they should have included the wear strip and chipper or else you really have to dig and push into hard, compact snow, feeling every bump along the pavement as you push along. The ease of shoveling and how far you can throw up and out is really dependent on how strong your arms, legs, and wrists are. I found myself worn out after trying to throw wet, heavy snow over the 3+ feet of snow we have accumulated here in Spokane. Also, it is akward to maneuver in tight quarters, turning around is near impossible without having to lift the wovel up. It should be fine for light snow up to 6 inches, but in the end a really expensive conversation piece that your neighbors will ask you about.

Summary: Wovel Works Hard 2008-12-30
Comment: Our family bought the Wovel for our dad two years ago. He's in his 70's now and generally in good health, though he has one artificial knee. The Wovel works very well and he has had no problems operating it. Compared to a standard shovel, the Wovel is much easier on the back and is much faster. A neighbor in his retirement community recently bought the latest version of the Wovel based on his recommendation.

Summary: Shovel snow the healthy way with the Sno Wovel, Great item !! 2008-12-29
Comment: I have used my Sno Wovel exclusively now this winter to shovel a large driveway and I totally enjoy using it. I shovel so quickly with the Wovel that it actually is an aerobic workout, a safe aerobic workout. It is safe because as you push down and step forward to toss the snow, you are actually decompressing your lower spine - stretching it out. No more lower back pain which I always used to get at some time while snow shoveling. No more lifting heavy blade fulls of snow, twisting and tossing it over a snow bank. I also like that it is quiet and economical (obviously as it has no motor like a snow blower). The Wovel works on all types of snow and slush, another advantage over snow blowers. The Wovel is a terrific new way to shovel snow and three of my friends that tried it at my house have purchased one for themselves and are raving about it. I highly recommend the Sno Wovel for sure.

Summary: Huge Time & Back Saver 2008-12-23
Comment: When I first saw this product, I had my reservations on how good it could actually be, but after this past week's major snowfall, I am a true believer. Both my wife and I tried it, and it made shoveling fun, and I got the job done in, like, a quarter of the time (probably less), with NO aching muscles the next day. It seems so simple - how much of a difference could it make? A lot. Really.
