    Summary: Greatest shovel ever 2010-07-18
Comment: I've got a gravel driveway so a snowblower doesn't work for me (I tried it, and after the gravel would fly through the air toward the house and car windows... no.). I used this a LOT last winter, and I'm glad I have it at the ready for next one. It's sturdy but light, and once you get the groove of pushing it only forward and not downward (hard to describe), it was great. I could do most of my driveway very quickly, I'm very, very happy with this product.

Summary: As snow shovels go! 2010-03-29
Comment: This reminder of the Norwegian "Skufa" moves a lot of snow with very little effort. When full, it slides over the ground without having to be lifted, and "dumps" by raising the handle. However, not good on stairs!

    Summary: Very pleased 2010-03-20
Comment: We purchased the Model SF1050 snow scoop at the end of the season so I haven't used it a lot so far. Based on my limited experience with it I can say that so far I am very happy with it. The scoop makes clearing my very large driveway almost fun. I haven't totally mastered the dumping part but over time I am sure I will get better at that. Over the past thirty years or so we have owned three different snow blowers and I prefer this scoop over them. Smow blowers are a pain to start in the winter and take up too much space the rest of the year. When it is windy the snow blows back in my face using a blower. The scoop is not hard on my arthritic back, simple to use, easy to store and good exercise. overall I ma very pleased.

Summary: There's better out there, but this one is worth having if you're in a pinch 2010-03-16
Comment: I bought this during the recent "snowmageddon" in the Northeast. It was the only sleigh shovel that was in stock, so I got it. I'm glad I did. For the things it was good at, it exceeded my expectations. Took some getting used to, but basically it turns you into a snow plow, until you have to dump the snow which you do by making a ramp up a pile of snow and shoving at the top. My driveway which normally took me about an hour to shovel would only take me 20 minutes with this. Plus, because it holds so much snow and you don't really ever lift it, it makes it worthwhile to go plow your driveway with it even if only a few inches have fallen, since you can really fly through the job.

If you can get one with a slightly longer handle or a more ergonomic handle, that will help a lot when you want to tip the shovel up to run it up the snow pile to dump it because you won't have to bend down as far. Other thing to note: Regular shovel = biceps and forearms workout, Sleigh Shovel = triceps and shoulder workout. This is because you're pushing it like a lawnmower and shoving it to get rid of the snow, whereas you're pulling and lifting with a regular shovel.

    Summary: Best Snow Shovel 2010-03-07
Comment: I bought this snow shovel after having 2 big snow falls this winter. After I purchased this shovel we had 5 more inches of snow fall. This shovel was very easy to use, your back doesn't hurt because you never pick the shovel up. The thing that would have made it easier was to have a clear space to push the snow to. By the time I could use this shovel we already had 2 feet of snow piled up next to the driveway, so I either I to go over the pile or add to it. I would recommend this to anyone that has to shovel snow.
