Comment: I bought this snow shovel after having 2 big snow falls this winter. After I purchased this shovel we had 5 more inches of snow fall. This shovel was very easy to use, your back doesn't hurt because you never pick the shovel up. The thing that would have made it easier was to have a clear space to push the snow to. By the time I could use this shovel we already had 2 feet of snow piled up next to the driveway, so I either I to go over the pile or add to it. I would recommend this to anyone that has to shovel snow.

Summary: Big snow shovel for big snow 2010-03-04
Comment: The winter of 09-10, the Texas Panhandle, like most of the country, had ALOT of snow.....making sidewalks and driveway accessible had to be dealt with. That's why I ordered the Big Scoop. I was able to clear the area. A sledding motion is used with the Scoop, dumping snow in a specific spot. No lifting and throwing.

Summary: Excellent for pushing snow off deck! 2010-03-04
Comment: We were cut in the February "Snowpocolypse" here in Maryland. Wow- there was a lot of snow, and then a second batch gave us even more! We cleared our wooden deck off (to make reduce the weight) using this and it was absolutely perfect. It made the work go fast after both storms!
In addition, we used this to clear off our driveway, but it was only good for pushing the snow into piles. From there, we had to use a regular shovel to push it out of the way. This was mostly because of the volume of snow we had- there was just no place to for us to "push" the snow!
I've seen comments about this only being good for shorter people-- my husband is 6'2" and had no problem with the handle length. He has full use of only one hand and it was perfect for him. He was able to use his body and hand to push it and clear the path, and we were able to remove the piles of snow he created at the same time!
Finally- I am a shorter person and I loved it!
For a regular year in MD when the snowfalls are about 3-5 inches, this will be perfect for pretty much everything- deck, driveway AND sidewalk! With more volume- just be patient.
Highly recommended!

Summary: No need for a snow blower, why didn't I get this earlier.. 2010-02-27
Comment: I was going to plunk down $500+ for a snow blower. I don't need to anymore. I have a driveway and sidewalk. My driveway can fit 4 cars/suvs and I live in Michigan. I can easily clear 1/2foot of snow from my driveway in 10 minutes. My wife uses the snow scoop w/o a problem for light snow in the 3-4inch range.

Summary: Great for bad backs! 2010-02-26
Comment: This is my 4th snow season using this wonder, and it's been
worth every penny! It's been so great for me, that it's reduced
the number of times I need to go to the chiropractor to fix
my back during the winter! Love love love this thing!
FYI, I'm 6 feet tall, and have no issues using it.
