The spreader is made with a 7/8-inch powder-coated steel frame and a rugged, heavy-duty plastic hopper to stand up to the roughest conditions and treatments. Two 10-inch pneumatic tires with steel wheels provide extra durability and smooth operation over all terrains, and a handy rain cover is included for spreading in poor weather. The spreader features a U-handle with a comfort grip to ease strain on the hands. All parts are covered with a 90-day limited warranty, and assembly should take about thirty minutes.--Jeffrey Dalto

Used it yesterday and the lever, etc. worked quite well, you need to get walking before you start dropping fertilizer as it will leave a pile, but as soon as you shut off the lever it will stop. Rolls much easier over uneven and hilly areas. It also spreads a very wide path so you don't have to make that many passes. This review is from: Precision Products 75-Pound Capacity Broadcast Spreader with Pneumatic Tires and Rain Cover SB4000PRCGY (Lawn & Patio) I bought spreader off great reviews, disappointed in performance. Spreader control not adjusted properly to allow full closure, precision measurement slides out of setting, and difficult to push when fully loaded. Good price, however cheaper Scott's brand worked better. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By kyle (Austin, Texas, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Precision Products 75-Pound Capacity Broadcast Spreader with Pneumatic Tires and Rain Cover SB4000PRCGY (Lawn & Patio) This is an awesome spreader for the price. The plastic feel control is alittle frail when loaded but functional. |
