I got this for my elderly grandfather for his birthday and he LOVED it. He is still independently living by himself, but was worried about the slick steps during the winter. This is the third time we have purchased this product for him and we will continue to buy them as he finds them very useful. The mats seem to last about two midwestern winters before needing replacement. If you have a lot of ice/snow, it's a great product!

No more slipping and sliding on wooden steps!! Had my doubts when I first saw it but after the first snow and ice storm, so simple getting up and down the steps!! I would definately recommend!!
