I purchased this belt and the Murray 579932MA Traction Drive Belt for my Craftsman snow thrower. The belts were less expensive from Amazon, than from Sear's Parts Store. I replaced the belts myself, with little effort, a week before the largest snow fall of the season - good timing!

I agree with the other reviewer. Absolute GARBAGE! I installed one that lasted the winter, but upon inspection this year, its broken in half in one place, and has all cracks along the inside. Buy at yor own peril!! Not even worth one star.

I bought 2 of these at the beginning of winter so I would have a good one and a spare. The first one didn't last 2 weeks it just snapped when the snow got heavy. The second one had chunks missing from it after a month. I got a similar belt from NAPA once when I couldn't get the recommended belt and it lasted 2 years. I guess you know where I'll be getting my next belt.
