We got about 15 inches! Pulled this guy out, fired up right away with the electric start and then it proceeded to absolutely inhale the snow! Easy to use and manuver. Litterally made short work of drifts that were higher than the 10 inch intake. At times it took multiple passes because of the depth, but it worked amazingly. Threw a good 30-40 feet! made a second pass to get it down to straight blacktop. When i was done, my neighbors all came by to check out the work and find out what kind of blower i was using. Yes it's my first time using it and i can't speak for it's longevity, but so far i love it! 5 of 10 people found the following review helpful: By Meggan (Waukesha, WI USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: MTD/Marshall 31AM2N1B704 MTD Gold Single Stage Snowthrower, with Electric Start We purchased this blower last year just before the last major snow storm was expected. That was the last snow of the season and so we put the blower away in the garage for the spring, summer, and fall. Now, at the first snowfall, the blower simply will not start. I've filled it with fresh gas, checked the oil, and tried a number of different times to start it but nothing happens.
I couldn't find the manual so I attempted a search online. MTD must be the ONLY company in existence who doesn't allow the user to browse a list of products for their manual. It requires both the model and serial number which it inconveniently places on the bottom of the blower. It isn't fun to have to get down on your hands and knees in the wet snow to find two inconveniently long numbers, copy them down onto a piece of paper in freezing weather just to do a search...Read more |
