I bought the Maztang snow thrower on Amazon.com for my in-laws in Minneapolis.
Kudos to Amazon.com for the incredibly speedy & free shipping. The unit was
received a few days later. The assembly was self explanatory. I was ready to
clear some snow on the driveway after 15 minutes. The snow was about 6 inches
thick, but we get very wet snow here in Minneapolis, MN. This snow blower cuts
right through the snow with ease. After multiple passes back and forth, the job
was done. It seems to be a sturdy and well-built piece of equipment. I had owned
a Toro snow blower before, but the Maztang brand performs just as well and
definitely gets the job done but at half the cost.

After reading the one negative review I hesitated, but decided to give this product and its seller a chance, and I'm so glad that I did. The price was a significant savings compared with similar models, and the product quality is exceptional. The Maztang MT988 Snow Blower is very well built. It delivers great performance, and for the money is an incredible deal. Five stars all the way.

MAZTANG MT988 18 INCH ELECTRIC SNOW BLOWERItem arrived quickly via free shipping, priority mail. But I could hardly believe it when I discovered that the metal tubing on the lower handle was missing holes which needed to be drilled to insert the bolts that hold it on. I was not able to contact the manufacturer; the 866 toll free number didn't work for my area & they didn't answer my email. I drilled the holes in a friend's shop & got it assembled. Shop time would have cost me about $40 without that help. I'm wondering how many other snow blowers got sent out with the defective part. With 38 pounds shipping weight, it would have cost me to send it back; in an email to the manufacturer I asked for a replacement part but got no response. Aside from what amounted to 30 minutes shop time so that I could attach the handle, the blower works...Read more
