This tailgate salt spreader is constructed of rotationally molded double-wall polyethylene that requires no welded steel framework, ensuring years of trouble-free service. Low-profile design is designed for unobstructed rear view and is lightweight for higher load capacity. Heavy-duty 12V spreader motor is housed in a sealed motor chamber inside the hopper for extra weather protection. Easy to use adjustable flow-gate design. Material flow and spread width is adjustable from 3' to 30' using an in-cab electronic variable speed control panel. Salt spreader includes a concealed 80 lb. vibrator, molded-in hopper handles, and hinged lid with a self-latching handle. Attaches directly to your pickup truck bumper (includes universal stake pocket attachment) or via 2 hitch receiver mount (included) that allows the use of your existing Class III or IV hitch.
