I had purchased a Hopkins extendable snowbrush to help get the snow off the roof of my SUV. It worked so well that I decided to get one for my car as well. The pivoting brush head makes it easy to push or pull snow off the flat surfaces of the vehicle. I also got to use the more aggressive ice scraper to get 1/4" thick freezing rain off the windows. It worked very well. The extension feature is quite handy. It allows you extra reach on an SUV or truck, but yet collapses down to a manageable size for storage. I would recommend this product if you need the extra reach to clear off larger vehicles, or need the stout ice scraper for freezing rain.

This would work well for those in the Panhandle of Texas, Oklahoma, and other states where snow and ice are the exception.
Pros:
Expandable, makes it good for SUV's
Good for medium frost
Water wiper is good for clearing windshield at the carwash.
Cons:
The snow brush part is horrible.

WOW!!
Finally, a snow brush that should last a LONG time.
Since this is ratcheting design instead of a "twist-lock" design I believe this will last several years. The twist-lock design lose their "settings" after several seasons of use. Since this had a ratchet (click to length) it seems more solid.
Broom is not huge, but it does have good strength... I rather had strength than width (my girl friend disagrees, but that a different subject)...
I would buy this again (if needed) without hesitation.
Happy Camper even if I don't have a tent!
