Halite RS25 Premium Ice Melting Rock Salt - 25 Pound Bag

I ordered this due to its convenience however I was rather dissapointed when I saw inside the package. It was mostly in powder form, the rock salts were very few. It works fairly ok for the first time but since most of the salt is in powder form, it is consumed very easily so you need to apply more and frequently. I wouldn't recommend buying this product.

While effective at melting snow and preventing icy patches from forming, the bag I received contained a significant amount of powder which made using my salt spreader challenging. The spreader is designed to spray chunks of salt, not powder. This bag, at thirty dollars, is fairly pricey and I will not be buying another bag.

Effective and works quickly on ice and snow. Love ordering this monthly from amazon vs. going to the store and lugging my fresh supply
