I have owned this shovel for 4 years, but it finally has started to warp and bend. It would push through packed, hard snow as well as scoop snow to throw over piles. Very happy with it. Too bad it doesn't last more than 4 years!

I purchased this shovel to replace the one metal edged one I had for 5 plus years. This winter the excessive snow, caused the metal edge to wear down by repeated packed snow scraping. The local stores did not have decent snow shovels/scrapers left. So,it was Amazon to the rescue. I was surprised to see they had a variety of shovels. This one has an all metal blade so should last longer. The shovel was tested in the next major storm. I use the snow thrower to remove most of the snow and then scrape off whatever gets packed down.It did an excellent job of removing the snow pack. I purchased the 24" after reading reviews about it's weight. But I did not find it heavy. I could easily have handled the 30" and reduced the time required for cleaning my driveway. I will probably buy the 30" anyway. It is worth the time saved by using a wider pusher.

It works great. However; it's heavy, will not bust up ice or packed snow, works best with 6" snow or less on a smooth surface.
