I bought one of these Garant Nordic 21 inch snow pushers for 12 dollars at Ace Hardware and immediately fell in love with it for 3 inches or less of powder snow on cement driveway.
I soon bought another for another 12 dollars. When there is 3 inches of powder or less on my cement loading area of driveway, I generally clear it quickly with one of these in each hand.
The only pusher I would dream of using with more than 3 inches of snow is a combo shovel that is half scoop and half pusher, and work well for (very short distances) pushing up to 4 inches of powder.
For pushing serious snow one needs the two handed grip and brute force of a Wovel.
For moving snow any distance one needs the gliding ability and scoop size of a Garant 24 or 26 inch sleigh shovel.

I bought two of these, thinking I was getting a quality product. The D handle cracked the first week of use and then finally snapped off completely. I understand that "things" happen but then the poly blade cracked where the ash handle fits into it. and finally broke out completely. The only thing on this shovel that is heavy duty is the ash handle.. Anything plastic on this shovel is very low quality.
