Earthway 2030Pi-Plus Salt and Ice Melt Spreader

The Earthway 2030Pi-Plus Salt and Ice Melt Spreader is an excellent dual-purpose spreader capable of not only spreading ice melt in the winter but also capable of spreading on turf and top dressing material in the spring, summer and fall. This spreader is capable of holding up to 65 lbs and features a poly hopper with a large opening to permit an easy flow of salt. Other spreaders may jam but this specially designed spreader keeps salt, ice melt, top dressing and many other large materials flowing freely. The aperture is a single large opening and can drop sand, rock salt, top dressing and other coarse broadcast material to flow easily from the hopper. The strengthened gearbox can stand up to frigid temperatures and the difficulties posed by spreading salt in winter. The 9" pneumatic tires on the Salt and Ice Melt Spreader are air-filled and have heavier, deeper treads to give better traction on icy and snowy surfaces. The tires are nearly twice as broad as the regular Earthway 2030Pi's tires at 3.75".
