Item was nearly impossible to assemble. . . screw holes did not align . . . other pre-drilled holes located in wrong spot . . . motor came pre-mounted facing the wrong direction.

The hopper assembly went together pretty easy if you've ever worked with bolting plastic & metal together, sometimes you have to apply pressure to get the bolt holes to line up, but nothing too serious. All of the fasteners that penetrate the hopper are stainless steel & the rest of the assembly went pretty quick & easy.

The one problem I did encounter was that the holes on the side of the hopper where the lid latches anchor to the hopper were drilled about 2 inches too low, but that problem was solved with a cordless drill a tape measure & a pencil. other than that I couldn't find too much to complain about, I haven't put it to work yet, but if my opinion changes I'll be sure to add a performance review.

The spreader is not as pictured. It does not have the steel brace/band around front of salt bin. I hope it holds up, not much holding the salt bin on, but a couple bolts thru plastic.
