Sorry to say that in side by side testing with standard ice melt (available at any grocery or hardware store) - it does nothing and in fact freezes itself! I live in the Chicago area so this is not the permafrost of northern Canada. The temperature was 20 F. I tried to pretreat the sidewalk before a snow event of 2 inches and it did not prevent snow from accumulating as advertised. Then after shovelling - I sprayed the solution on some ice frozen to the sidewalk and instead of melting ice - I ended up with a new layer of ice. The rock salt - while not glamorous at least did what it was advertised to do and at a 90% savings. Let the buyer beware!

Didn't get to use it this winter. Will update my review at a later time if I do. Don't get the Battery powered sprayer... It was useless!

This is not on the product but on the supplier. My order has been in now for nearly 3 weeks and it is shown as in stock, yet I have still not received. Wanted before snow so could use on metal roof to prevent snow from sticking. The Sub Zero Liquid I used last year is twice the price, but I am now willing to pay the difference just so I can get the order. Snow in forecast today thru Friday. Extremely extremely disappointed beyond words.
