Arnold OEM-710-0890 MTD Snow Thrower Shear Pin Replaces 710-0890 2004 & Prior

The bolts were plated and were of good quality. They fit well and did what they were supposed to do.

Replacement Shear Pins arrived promptly. Luckily, I haven't had to use them yet but they look to be of high quality.

We've had a LOT of snow in Flagstaff this winter, so our snow blower has had more use than some years. Fortunately the shear pins work just as they should and when there's a block to the blades they break instead of chewing up the blower. Our unit came with a few extra and when the last one got used a couple weeks ago my husband tasked me with finding replacements (we had gone through 2 in about 8 years, so there wasn't a big hurry). I had NO idea where to look at first so I thought I'd try putting the part number into an Amazon search. Ha! My notion that you can buy ANYTHING at Amazon was reinforced. I continue to be a happy (and frequent!) Amazon shopper. I believe these came from somewhere else, but I purchased through Amazon. They arrived quickly and we're ready for the next time....
