Summary: Poly Snow Shovel works great for leaves too! 2008-08-07
Comment: I was looking for something to scoop up huge piles of dead leaves, and I was having a lot of trouble finding anything big enough! I usually use two dust pans as a scooper set, but I was tired of so much bending!
I knew a snow shovel would work, but living in the San Francisco Bay Area made it very had to find one. I tried all my local hardware stores and nobody had anything even close. This is a 'seasonal item' where I live, even unavailable until late fall at certain online stores.
I wanted something lightweight that had a large volume capacity so I wouldn't have to do so much bending as with some other leaf scooping devices. This really did the trick! My neighbors saw the package get delivered and were so curious about what could be in that huge box! Yes, the box is ridiculously huge.
Weighing in at only 2.3 pounds, this shovel is a marvel! It saved me hours of back breaking yard work!
