I live in Massachusetts and we have had our share of snowstorms this season and so I decided to buy two of these to break ice. One was for my aunt and the other was for myself. I only used this twice and afterwards, when I was trying to use it the third time, the whole blade popped off of the handle! You can also notice a little bit of snow wedging into the part of the blade that connects to the handle after each use too. Just not a very durable product. The ice was about an inch thick each time I used it.
This item is an average ice scraper.,

It good for the money. You get what you pay for. Just don't try to bend it in a hard snow bank.
